Pilana Vrata d.o.o. is situated at the area with a 100-year-long tradition of industrial wood processing.
We process coniferous raw materials (fir, spruce) into:
- sawn timber - fresh or thermally treated
- wood panelling and terrace flooring, semi-rounded wood
- glued thick/length elements
- pellets
The location of the plant in the village where the company got its name (Vrata, Fužine Municipality) along the Rijeka - Zagreb highway in Gorski kotar gives us a key competitive advantage. This advantage is achieved by the proximity of the coniferous raw material on one side and the proximity of Rijeka, Zagreb, Istria as well as Slovenian, Italian and Austrian markets on the other. Also, the proximity of Rijeka, Kopar and Trieste ports gives us an additional market / logistics advantage.
